SAP BAPIs

A Business Application Programming Interface (BAPI) is defined as an API method of SAP business object types. BAPIs are primarily used by customers and third-party software applications to interact with SAP. BAPIs layer SAP object models, to ensure that validations and authorization is performed when accessing SAP.
