Task Routing Setup Example

Sepasoft MES Module Suite

Set Task Routing in MES 3.0 and MES 4.0

This example sets up Task Routing for your MES 3.0/MES 4.0 Environment. For this example, we are using a docker setup with Ignition 8.1.22 and MES 3.81.6 SP2

<Runtime License>  Runtime  Server
<Analysis License>           Analysis Server
<Visualization License>  Visualization Server

<Runtime License>         Production v 3 analysis: false edition: enterprise runtime: true
<Analysis License>         Production v 3 analysis: true edition: enterprise runtime: false
<Visualization License>  Production v 3 analysis: false edition: enterprise runtime: false

  • One database is configured on the Runtime Server.

Runtime Server

Note Note that the Runtime server does NOT have routing information outbound to other servers.  It is self sufficient.

Analysis Server

Note Note that the Analysis Server needs a route to the Runtime Server.  Further, the Analysis Server needs to be able to access the MES DB.

Visualization Server

Note that the Visualization Server needs routings defined to the Analysis and Runtime servers.
