Overview of Batch Data in MES Analysis
The history of batch-execution information and phase-parameters values are stored using tag collectors and vertical tables. This methodology and structure exists in the core MES modules and feeds data into the MES Analysis engine.
Vertical tables are used to record values as they change during a batch. The Changelog exposes the activity in those vertical tables.
Because the batch system exposes all batch information including general batch information, parameters, commands, status, etc. to Ignition tags, the MES tag collectors captures value changes and saves to the batch vertical database tables.
