Machine Recipe Selector List

Perspective component mes.recipe.scoSelectorList in the Settings & Changeover palette. It lists enabled machine recipes for equipmentPath, and can start or stop the active recipe.

The list stays empty until equipmentPath is set. It reloads when equipmentPath, a filter, or showMasterRecipes changes, and when recipes or the active recipe change from another source. A load, start, or stop failure opens an error dialog.

The active recipe’s row label is the recipe name plus (Active). activeRecipeName is that name without the label.

The checkmark starts selectedRecipeName when that name is not the active recipe. The X stops it when selectedRecipeName is the active recipe. selectedRecipeName is the last recipe clicked.

requireNote true opens a note dialog before start or stop. user is the change-log name. A blank user records the session user.

recipeNameFilter, recipeStateFilter, and recipeGroupFilter limit which recipes are loaded. A blank filter does not restrict that field. * and ? match any text. A value with no wildcard must match the whole name, state, or group.

showMasterRecipes false (the default) hides master recipes. A master recipe has enabled child recipes. True includes them.

The header Search box filters rows already loaded. The match is case-insensitive and can match any part of the displayed name, including (Active). Names hidden by Search are removed from selectedRecipeNames.

Note

Version Specific: Multi-select and drag were added in MES 3.81.13 SP3 and apply to this component only. The Recipe Selector Combo does not have them.

Multi-select and drag

ActionResult
Click
Sets selectedRecipeName and sets selectedRecipeNames to that one name.
Ctrl-click or Cmd-click
Toggles that name in selectedRecipeNames. selectedRecipeName becomes the clicked name.
Shift-click
Sets selectedRecipeNames to the range from the last clicked recipe through the clicked recipe. The range follows recipe names when the list is filtered or reloaded.
Ctrl-Shift-click or Cmd-Shift-click
Adds that range to selectedRecipeNames.
Drag a row that is in selectedRecipeNames
Drags every selected name that is still visible.
Drag any other row
Drags that recipe name only.

Rows use a grab cursor when enableDrag is true. Selected rows other than selectedRecipeName are outlined.

enableMultiSelect false keeps single-select. Ctrl-click and Shift-click select only the clicked recipe, and a drag carries only that recipe. enableDrag false turns dragging off. The checkmark and X still use selectedRecipeName.

With multi-select on, bind the set of recipes to selectedRecipeNames.
