Using Batch Message List
The Batch Message List component is installed with the Batch Procedure module.
The Batch Message List component is a table view that lists any messages for the operator. This table can contain messages from User Message Phases, or Value Prompt Phases that exist in a recipe.
Batch Message List includes:
-
An equipment path filter to only show the messages for a limited number of units, see properties below.
-
A severity filter property used to only show messages set the the corresponding severities, see properties below.
-
Messages from a Value Prompt phase that allow the operator to enter the requested values that are passed back to set the corresponding batch parameters. Value entry message always appear.
-
A message from a User Message phase is shown until the operator acknowledges the message. The User Message phase has parameters for who and when the message was acknowledged and is set when the user selects the acknowledge option. Records the acknowledgement details by Tag Collectors.
- If a "Message" parameter is set by the PLC (field equipment), for example in a Permissive Start situation, it serves a dual purpose: aside from being recorded in the EBR, it will also appear here in the Message List and Batch Controller components, provided that display messages are enabled.
See Batch Message List Component Reference for properties.
