Batch Procedure Perspective Components

Below is a summary of each component. Components are shown in the order that they are displayed in the Perspective Component palette in Ignition Designer.

Perspective User Interface Components for Batch Procedure in Ignition Designer

Use this component:	To:
Batch Controller	Used to monitor and control Procedures, Unit Procedures, Operations and Phases.
Batch Formula	Used to introduce numerous variations to a Batch Recipe without altering the core process logic.
Batch List	Used for runtime operations of batches. View the active and pending queued batches in table form.
Batch Message List	A table view that lists all runtime messages.
Batch Phase Manager	Used for phase development. Create and manage Phases and Phase Classes.
Batch Recipe Editor	Used for recipe development. Create and edit recipes.
Batch Recipe Monitor	Used for runtime operations of batches. Visually see the recipe as it was authored with sequential logic controls. By selecting recipe elements, you can review the state of a phase and its parameters. You can view: Parameters and values Messages Pending Transitions
Batch Selector	Used for runtime operations of batches. Select a batch from a list. Used with the batch monitoring components.
Batch Unit Class Manager	Used in the development process. A unit class includes phases. A unit is assigned a unit class.
Batch Unit Manager	Used in the development process. Arrange Units to resemble the production line. Specify Unit Classes for each Unit.
Electronic Batch Record (EBR) Viewer	Used to display Electronic Batch Record data. Use for Master Recipes apart from execution. Provides details including all the phase steps defined within the recipe. Recipes must be validated in Recipe Editor. Use for Control Recipes to view execution data. Provides details for a single batch that has been executed including all the steps performed and parameter values with time stamps.
Document Management	MES Document Management Module must be installed. Use these document tools to create manual procedures and operations web page interactivity. Create documents in Phase Manager when configuring phases based on a Document Phase. Each custom phase based on a Document Phase can be also be edited in Recipe Manager. This allows you to add text and media that show up in every instance by adding when creating the phase, as well as localized and specific text and media for recipes.
