Locations

Locations are used by the SPC and Settings & Changeover modules. They define the locations that are associated with sample collection and machine settings.

Locations can only be created in the Equipment Manager when the Sepasoft SPC Module is installed.

General

The General section includes the standard items for equipment at the Line and Cell levels.  However, subtle differences are present to support SPC features.  Tag Collectors are specific to quality purposes, and after a Sample Definition is configured, tags can be tied to the location for sample collection via the Tag Collectors page.

SPC

The SPC section shows Sample Events specifically configurable for the selected location.  These events expose a powerful python customization tool, to allow processing of data for sample collection to behave appropriately for the use-case.  More information on these events can be found in the SPC Event Objects page.

Settings and Changeover

Recipe Values names can be inherited from the Enterprise, Site or Area level settings, or defined at the Location level.

At this level, it is possible to add configuration information regarding the tag, variance thresholds and the scripts used to evaluate them.
