Sync Gateway and MES Users
The MES Object Editor does not "see" the users that are created in the Gateway User Sources Security menu
Solution
MES Personnel objects are automatically created for any users added to any of the Ignition User Sources; However, the synchronization of users only occurs once every hour by default.
We can force a sync by calling the system.mes.synchronizeMESPersonnel() script function. The users will be synchronized from the same source as defined in the MES Settings for authentication.
Finally, keep in mind that the MES Object Editor, when looking for names, it literally means names
