Set Material_In and Material_Out to: 

• Create material lots during batch execution of batch recipes.

Batch system sets lot number(s) and references to material lot(s)

• Reference material lots during batch execution.

Reference upstream in the system, see lot objects for Material Lot within MES 3.0 Object Inheritance

• Conditional: Reference or create material lots based on availability . 

 Conditional based on the availability of material lot(s).
